Brief Description:

A brief description of the Most Popular Topics of this Release are: Clearly Women as the Main Topic, also: Personalities, or Women Personalities. Then going to more specific Topics, Uruguayan Women, or Uruguayan Personalities , and of course in particular the Women being honoured in this Issue, María Bernabela "Belela" Herrera Sanguinetti.

Finally, surrounding the Personality of  "Belela" Herrera some Topics arises. By her profession Teacher, by his studies Sociology, by his work: Politics, Diplomatic Relationships, Refugees, United Nations, Human Rights, and by the places in which she helped, besides her country Uruguay, she is deeply related with Chile, specially in the moment in which Augusto Pinochet assumed power in Chile following a United States-backed coup d'état on 11 September 1973 that overthrew the elected socialist Unidad Popular government of President Salvador Allende. Another countries in which he worked were: Argentina, México, España, Perú, Brasil, El Salvador, Haití, and Sudáfrica.

Then, looking at the desing of the Issue, very few Topics appears, the most visible is Photography, as it is how is shown Belela Herrera in the stamp design, then also Cravat and Earrings, or a wider Women Clothing Accesories, because she is using these Accesories in the Photography selected for the Stamp Design, and another observation that could be done is that in all items, in the Stamp, in the Block, and in the FDC Cancellation , the Woman Sign appears, so a wider Signs could be another Topic of this issue. Finally, in the Special Cover Designed for this Issue appears, as a stripe, the Uruguayan Flag, so Flags could be considered another Topic of this Release too.

Finally, a few words about this Traditional annual issue of uruguayan post office about Remarkable Uruguayan Women that is released since 2007. The women previously honoured in these serie were: Julia Arévalo in 2007, Nelly Goitiño in 2008, Delmira Agustini in 2009, Alba Roballo in 2010, then a Special Edition in 2011 followed because of Uruguayan Bicentennial and highlighting the life of Petrona Rosende and Josefa Oribe. After that another Peculiar Edition in 2012 dedicated to a Theater play called "También hicimos patria", that in english means "We also build country", that travels the 200 years of Uruguayan history, through the life of it Remarkable Women, then in 2013 a Series of three Stamps was issued honouring: "Tota" and Elena Quinteros, Jorgelina Martínez, and María Viñas Sendic, finally returning in 2014 to the release of a Single Stamp Serie about the Personality of Luisa Cuesta.
